Stator removal/installation note

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.

Remove the bolts A, B, and C.

Loose bolt D approx. 5 mm {0.2 in}.
Tightening torque

19-25 N.m {2.0-2.5 kgf.m, 15-18 ft.lbf}
Tilt the A/C compressor centered around bolt D.

Remove the screw.

Remove the stator.
