DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	INSPECT FOR PCM MALFUNCTION Switch the ignition to off. Using the M-MDS, perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .) Are any DTCs detected?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5)] .)
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT FOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MALFUNCTION Switch the ignition to off. Using the M-MDS, perform the DTC inspection for the instrument cluster. (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .) Are any DTCs detected?	Yes	Go to applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	INSPECT THE AWD CM Is correct AWD CM installed?	Yes	Replace the AWD CM. (See AWD CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3	INSPECT THE AWD CM Is correct AWD CM installed?	No	Go to the next step.
4	COUPLING COMPONENT CALIBRATION DATA WRITING Write the coupling component calibration data. (See COUPLING COMPONENT CALIBRATION DATA WRITING .) Clear the DTCs from the memory. (See ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Is the same DTC present?		Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT Clear the DTCs from the memory. (See ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
5		No	Go to the next step.
6	VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT Are any other DTCs output?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS [ELECTRONIC AWD CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
6		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
