DTC U053B; Abnormal Message From Forward Sensing Camera (FSC): Notes

DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC U053B:00	Abnormal message from forward sensing camera (FSC)
DETECTION CONDITION	Correct data cannot be received from forward sensing camera (FSC). Diagnostic support note This is a continuous monitor (other). The check engine light does not illuminate. FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is not available. DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION	Inhibits the smart city brake support control. Displays a message related to a smart city brake support in the display. Illuminates smart brake support/smart city brake support (SBS/SCBS) indicator light (amber).
POSSIBLE CAUSE	Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
