GENERATOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-ELOOP)]: Notes

CAUTION:

Do not apply direct battery positive voltage to generator terminal 2B, otherwise it could cause damage to the internal parts (power transistor) of the generator.

NOTE:

The i-ELOOP caution label is adhered to the position shown in the figure below on vehicles with i-ELOOP. When determining if a vehicle in for servicing is equipped with i-ELOOP, refer to the i-ELOOP section. (See GENERATOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITH i-ELOOP)] .)
