Rear Stabilizer Removal/Installation (2WD): Notes

WARNING:
- Verify that the rear crossmember is securely supported by a jack. If the rear crossmember falls off, it can cause serious injury or death, and damage to the vehicle.
CAUTION:
- Performing the following procedures without first removing the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor may possibly cause an open circuit in the wiring harness if it is pulled by mistake. Before performing the following procedures, disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness (axle side) and fix the wiring harness to an appropriate place where it will not be pulled by mistake while servicing the vehicle.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Release the electric parking brake.
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the auto leveling sensor link. (With auto leveling sensor) (See AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the wiring harness clips and connector installed to the rear crossmember. (With auto leveling sensor)
- Disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness and the electric parking brake motor gear unit connector and set it aside so that it does not interfere with the servicing. (See REAR ABS WHEEL-SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (2WD) .)
- Remove the TWC. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Remove the rear coil spring. (See REAR COIL SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Inspect the wheel alignment and adjust it if necessary. (See REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT .)
