Switching To Maintenance Mode

CAUTION:
- When performing the procedure while the vehicle is on the ground, block the front and rear wheels using wheel blocks. Otherwise, the vehicle may move when the electric parking brake is released.
- Switch the ignition to on, while pressing the brake pedal, push down on the parking brake switch to release the parking brake.
- Switch the ignition to off and release the brake pedal.
- Depress the accelerator pedal past the down shift detent and hold it there through the process.
- Push down on the parking brake switch and hold it there through the process.
- Press and release the Start stop button 5x (off- accessory - ignition-off- accessory-ignition) You should hear the electric parking break motor running.
- Verify that the electric parking brake warning light is illuminated in instrument cluster indicating it is in Maintenance Mode.NOTE: Electric Parking Brake system will stay in Maintenance Mode until it is taken out.
