- With the ignition switched ON (engine off or on), the connectivity master unit (CMU) detects a disc read error.

| Possible cause |
CAUTION:
- An unexpected load is applied to the CD player causing the output of a DTC due to the way the user uses the CD player, such as intentionally holding onto a disc when inserting it. The orientation of the disc should be checked before inserting it and it should be released from the fingers as soon as the disc begins to be read.
- Disc malfunction or malfunction due to customer use method
- Disc insertion direction mistaken
- Disc scratched or dirty
- Use of incompatible disc
- CD player internal malfunction
