- With the ignition switched ON (engine on or off), the connectivity master unit (CMU) detects a disc having a data format that is incompatible with the CD player.

| Possible cause |
- Disc malfunction or malfunction due to customer use method
- Use of incompatible disc
- Data format other than music data (CDDA)/MP3/WMA (Windows Media Audio)/AAC (Advance Audio Coding) is stored in the disc.
- Use of blank disc
- Disc insertion direction mistaken
- Disc scratched or dirty
- CD player internal malfunction
