| Detection condition |
- The radar unit detects that the brake switch signal and the brake fluid pressure value are incompatible.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits the Mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
- Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control

- Brake switch malfunction
- Malfunction in circuit between brake switch and PCM and PCM
- DSC HU/CM malfunction
- Signal error in circuit between PCM and radar unit
- Signal error in circuit between DSC HU/CM and radar unit
- Radar unit malfunction
