ODDTC Self Test

  1. Switch the ignition to off.
  2. Switch the ignition to ON (engine off) and wait for 6 s or more. 
  3. Switch the ignition to off.
  4. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  5. Expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight.
    NOTE:
    • If natural sunlight is not shone on the solar radiation sensor, the climate control unit determines a malfunction and indicates DTC "B1A63:12, B1A63:13, B1A64:12, B1A64:13".
  6. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
    1. Select "Self Test".
    2. Select "Modules".
    3. Select "EATC".
  7. Verify the DTC according to the directions on the screen.
    • If any DTCs are displayed, perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.
  8. After completion of repairs, clear all DTCs stored in the climate control unit. (See CLEARING DTC [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .)
