Catch Tank Inspection

  1. Remove the catch tank. (See PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Plug the purge solenoid valve side into the catch tank.

  3. Inspect for air leakage when blowing air using your mouth into the charcoal canister side.
