Diagnostic Procedure

Step Inspection Action
1 INSPECT DTCs IN SAS CONTROL MODULE 
Yes Perform the applicable DTC inspection.
No Go to the next step.
2 INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER 
  • Verify that the instrument cluster is correctly installed.
  • Is the instrument cluster correctly installed?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Correctly install the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Then go to the next step.
3 INSPECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER 
Yes Go to the next step.
No Replace the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Then go to the next step.
4 PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION 
Yes Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
