Front Seat Removal/Installation: Passenger-Side

- Switch the ignition off (LOCK).
- Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Disconnect the connector (with power seat system).
- Slide the lock in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, and while pressing the tab in the direction of arrow (2), disconnect the connector in the direction of arrow (3).
- Remove the bolts in the order of (1), (2), (3), (4) shown in the figure, then take the front seat out from the opened front door.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- When the passenger's seat is removed, perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS and verify that no DTCs are displayed. (See DTC INSPECTION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]

- If any DTCs are displayed, perform malfunction repair referring to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
- When the passenger's seat is replaced with a new one, perform the occupant classification sensor calibration using the M-MDS. (See OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
