Stator removal/installation note

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.

  3. Remove the bolts A, B, and C.

  4. Loose bolt D approx. 2 mm {0.08 in}  .

    Tightening torque 

    • 19-25 N.m {2.0-2.5 kgf.m, 15-18 ft.lbf}
  5. Tilt the A/C compressor centered around bolt D.

  6. Remove the screw.

  7. Remove the stator.
