Windshield Wiper And Washer Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the wiper and washer switch. (See WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Use a tester to measure and verify that the continuity between the windshield wiper and washer switch terminals is as indicated in the chart.

If the continuity is not as indicated in the chart, replace the windshield wiper and washer switch. (See WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
