| Detection condition |
- The ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) and the starter stop unit detects voltage from IG1 relay output monitor as less than 2.5 V
for 0.5 s or more
while the engine is not being cranked.

- Start stop unit connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between IG1 relay terminal E and start stop unit terminal 2S
