Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Action
1 VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS AUDIO AMPLIFIER DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY
  • Clear the DTC from the audio amplifier memory.
  • Retrieve the audio amplifier DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUDIO AMPLIFIER] .)
  • Is the same DTC displayed?
 Yes Replace the audio amplifier, then go to the next step.
(See AUDIO AMPLIFIER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
No Go to the next step.
2 VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
 Yes Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
(See DTC TABLE [AUDIO AMPLIFIER] .)
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
