DTC U3000-04; Smart Brake Support (SBS) System Operation Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Smart brake support (SBS) system operation malfunction
Detection condition
  • The smart brake support (SBS) brake is operated excessively
Fail-safe
  • Inhibits the mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
  • Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control
  • Inhibits the distance recognition support system (DRSS) control
Possible cause
  • Dirt on radiator grille ornament, modifications, application of stickers (including transparent types), scratches, or damage
  • Dirt on radar unit, scratches, or damage
  • Impact is transmitted to area around radar unit
  • Incorrect installation of radar unit
  • Radar unit aiming adjustment error
  • DSC HU/CM malfunction
  • SAS control module malfunction
  • Radar unit malfunction
