DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description

Error signal received from start stop unit

Detection condition

Communication error between start stop unit and radar unit

Fail-safe

Inhibits the mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control ⁽¹⁾
Inhibits the distance recognition support system (DRSS) control ⁽¹⁾

Possible cause

DTCs are stored in the start stop unit.
- Start stop unit malfunction
Radar unit malfunction
