DTC C1105-62; Brake Light Signal Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Brake light signal malfunction
Detection condition
  • The radar unit detects that the brake switch signal and the brake light on/off are incompatible.
Fail-safe
  • Inhibits the mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
  • Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control
  • Inhibits the distance recognition support system (DRSS) control
Possible cause
  • Brake switch malfunction
  • DTCs are stored in the rear body control module (RBCM).
    • Brake light unit malfunction
      • Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
  • DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster.
  • Radar unit malfunction
