DTC B1D19-64; Incompatible Disc Inserted

DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Incompatible disc inserted
Detection condition
  • With the ignition switched ON (engine on or off), the connectivity master unit (CMU) detects a disc having a data format that is incompatible with the CD player.
Fail-safe function Eject a disc.
Possible cause
  • Use of incompatible disc
    • Data format other than music data (CD-DA)/MP3/WMA (Windows Media Audio)/ACC (Advance Audio Coding) is stored in the disc.
  • Use of blank disc
  • Disc insertion direction mistaken
  • Disc scratched or dirty
  • CD player internal malfunction

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Action
1 INSPECT CD PLAYER Yes Replace the CD player, then go to the next step.

(See CD PLAYER INSTALLATION .)
No Go to the next step.
2 VERIFY OTHER DTCs
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No DTC troubleshooting completed.
