DTC B116A-92; Microphone Circuit Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Microphone circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • The connectivity master unit detected microphone circuit voltage of less than 7.7 V or more than 8.6 V with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe function Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Microphone connector or terminal malfunction
  • Connectivity master unit connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between connectivity master unit terminal 1Q and microphone terminal C
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between connectivity master unit terminal 1Q and microphone terminal C
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between connectivity master unit terminal 1Q and microphone terminal C
  • Microphone malfunction
  • Connectivity master unit malfunction
