DTC B108E-04; Center Display Internal Malfunction

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Center display internal malfunction
Detection condition	The connectivity master unit detected a center display internal malfunction for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe function	Not applicable
Possible cause	Center display internal malfunction Connectivity master unit malfunction
System wiring diagram	Not applicable

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS CENTER DISPLAY Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 12 s or more. Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the center display, then go to the next step. (See CENTER DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
1		No	Go to Step 3.
2	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 12 s or more. Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the connectivity master unit. (See CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT (CMU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
