Trunk End Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the trunk covering. (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the trunk board. (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Partially peel back the liftgate weather strip.
  4. Remove fasteners.

  5. Carry the trunk end trim from the position of the arrow shown in the figure, and pull up the trunk end trim in the direction of arrow shown in the figure while disengage tabs.

  6. Pull up the trunk end trim in the direction of arrow shown in the figure, and then remove clips and pins.

  7. Carry the trunk end trim from the position of the arrow shown in the figure, and pull up the trunk end trim in the direction of arrow shown in the figure while disengage tabs.

  8. Pull up the trunk end trim in the direction of arrow shown in the figure, and then remove clip and pin.

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
