LED Illumination Inspection

WARNING:

Handling the driver-side air bag module improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. Switch the ignition off.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Apply battery positive voltage to cruise control switch terminal 3F, and connect terminal 3B to ground.

Verify that the LED illuminates.
- If the LED does not illuminate, replace the cruise control switch.
