DTC P0616-29; Downstream Side Of Starter Relay Signal Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Downstream side of starter relay signal malfunction
Detection condition
  • Start stop unit detects that the following signals are unmatched for 0.5 s or more for a continuous 5 times.
  • Transmission range switch (ATX)/starter interlock switch (MTX) condition
  • Starter relay downstream circuit condition
  • PCM control result
    • CAN signal condition output from PCM
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • DTCs are stored in the PCM.
  • PCM malfunction
  • Start stop unit malfunction
