Hatchback (5HB)

  1. To remove the rear seat back (LH), remove the following part:
    1. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear center seat belt anchor (See REAR CENTER SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Fold the rear seat back.
  3. Partially peal back the rear seat back trim and remove the bolts.

  4. Move the rear seat back to the position where the T-studs of the rear seat back frame can be removed from the rear seat hinge.

  5. Move the rear seat hinge to the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and set the rear seat hinge away from the T-studs of the rear seat back frame.

  6. Set the rear seat hinge away from all the T-studs of the rear seat back frame.
  7. Remove the rear seat back.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
