Center Ventilator Grille

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the glove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the decoration panel. (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the screws.

  5. Move the remover tool in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and pull up the end of the decoration panel, and then remove the center ventilator grilles in the direction of arrows (2).
    CAUTION:
    • If excessive force is applied to the end of the decoration panel, it could damage the decoration panel. When disengaging the hooks, be careful not to apply excessive force to the hooks.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
