Side Speaker Grille

  1. To prevent scratches or damage, affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure of the dashboard.
    CAUTION:
    • If work using protective tape is performed in an area where the temperature can increase drastically or the protective tape is left adhered for a long period of time, tape adhesive could remain area where the protective tape was applied when the it is peeled off. When applying protective tape, avoid areas where the temperature of the tape can increase drastically and peel off the protective tape soon after the work is completed.

  2. To detach the clip from the dashboard, insert the remover tool into the clearance between the side speaker grille and dashboard.

  3. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard.
  4. Slide the remover tool to the position shown in the figure.

  5. Move the remover tool in the direction of arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard.
  6. Slide the remover tool to the position shown in the figure.

  7. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard.
  8. Slide the remover tool to the position shown in the figure.

  9. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip from the dashboard.
  10. Hold the shaded area of the side speaker grille, move the side speaker grille in the direction of the arrow (1), and remove the side speaker grille while detaching guides.

  11. Remove the side speaker grille in the direction of the arrow (2) from the dashboard.
  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
