Without electric parking brake

NOTE:

The console lid lock is integrated with the console lid inner.
When replacing the console lid lock, replace it with the console lid inner as a single unit.

Insert a cardboard into the position shown in the figure.

CAUTION:
- The surface of the console lid may be scratched if a tool is inserted without inserting cardboard. Always insert cardboard before inserting a tool to protect the surface of the console lid.
Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver to the position shown in the figure and secure a clearance for inserting the remover tool.

Insert the remover tool into the clearance secured in Step 2.

Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the tab A of the console lid outer from the console lid inner.

Perform Steps 1 to 4 for the opposite side and detach the tab B of the console lid outer from the console lid inner.

Pull the console lid inner in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach all the tabs C of the console lid outer from the console lid inner.

Remove the console lid inner.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
