Parking Brake Lever Adjustment

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
- Pump the brake pedal a few times.
- Disconnect the upper panel from the rear console. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL .) (See UPPER PANEL INSTALLATION .)
- Turn the adjusting nut and adjust the parking brake lever. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER INSPECTION .)
- After adjustment, pull the parking brake lever one notch and verify that the parking brake warning light illuminates.
- Release the parking brake.
- Verily that the rear brakes do not drag.
