Diagnostic procedure

STEP INSPECTION ACTION
1 INITIALIZE A TPMS MEMORY 
  • Switch the ignition to off.
  • Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to DLC-2.
  • After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the IDS.
    • Select "Chassis".
    • Select "ABS/DSC".
    • Select "TPMS DTC Reset for ABS/DSC".
  • Perform the procedure according to the directions on the screen.
  • Is the initialization normally completed?
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/Control Module, then go to the next step.

2 VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT  Yes Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/Control Module, then go to the next step.

No Go to the next step.
3 VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT 
  • Are any other DTCs output?
Yes Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No DTC troubleshooting completed.
