| Detection |
- Electric parking brake control module detects that the signal in the electric parking condition brake switch circuit is stuck.

| Fail-safe |
- When the ignition is switched off, the electric parking brake control module operates the electric parking brake.

| possible cause |
CAUTION:
- When the electric parking brake switch is continuously pulled up/pressed down for a long period, DTCs may be detected. Therefore, always verify that DTCs being detected are due to how the customer has operated the switch.
- Electric parking brake switch malfunction
- Electric parking brake switch is mechanically stuck
- Electric parking brake control module malfunction
