Sedan (4SD)

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Pull back the trunk side trim (RH) to a position which allows for the removal of the theft-deterrent horn. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the theft-deterrent horn. (See THEFT-DETERRENT HORN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Apply battery positive voltage to horn terminal A, and connect the horn retaining bolt to ground as shown in the figure, and then verify that the horn sounds.

- If the horn does not sound, replace the horn.
