LED Illumination Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the power window subswitch cover. (See POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Apply battery voltage to door lock switch terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground.

  5. Verify that the LED turns on.
    • If the LED does not turn on, replace the door lock switch.
