- Rear body control module (RBCM) detects a short to ground in the trunk lid opener switch (exterior) (4SD)/liftgate opener switch (5HB) circuit

| Possible cause |
- Trunk lid opener switch (exterior) (4SD)/liftgate opener switch (5HB) connector or terminal malfunction
- Trunk lid opener switch (exterior) (4SD)/liftgate opener switch (5HB) malfunction
- Rear body control module (RBCM) connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 4M and trunk lid opener switch (exterior) (4SD)/liftgate opener switch (5HB) terminal C
- Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
