Exhaust manifold insulator removal note

  1. Remove the No. 1 engine mount rubber bolt (transmission side), and loosen the No. 1 engine mount rubber bolt (crossmember side) to slightly move the engine. (See ENGINE MOUNT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY .)
  2. Remove the insulator as shown in the figure.

  3. Remove the exhaust manifold insulator.
