Lower Outer Mirror Garnish

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the outer mirror glass. (See OUTER MIRROR GLASS REMOVAL .) (See OUTER MIRROR GLASS INSTALLATION .)
Remove the upper outer mirror garnish. (See UPPER OUTER MIRROR GARNISH .)
Remove the screw.

Disconnect the connector.
Using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, detach the tabs in the order of tabs A and B while pulling the lower outer mirror garnish in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

Remove the lower outer mirror garnish.
NOTE:
- If the lower outer mirror garnish is replaced, remove the following parts.
1. Side turn light (See SIDE TURN LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
