Headliner Removal/Installation: Installation

  1. Pull out area A of the clip for the surface fastener (roof panel side) shown in the figure using a flathead screwdriver.

    NOTE:
    • To avoid adhering the surface fastener to the headliner before installing the headliner, pull out area A of the clip.
  2. Insert the headliner from the liftgate opening.

  3. Press the headliner in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the clips.

  4. Install the seaming welts shown in the figure.

  5. Install wiring harness clips A and B.

  6. Connect the connector.

  7. Install the wiring harness clip.
  8. Connect rear washer hose C with the joint pipe.
  9. Insert the roof wiring harness and rear washer hose B in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

  10. Connect rear washer hose B.

  11. Install the wiring harness clips and connect the tuner and amp unit (TAU) connectors. (With center display)

  12. Connect the connector. (Without center display)

  13. Install the roof wiring harness in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and close the lock covers of the wiring harness clips in the direction of arrow (2).

  14. Install the following parts:
    1. Head restraint
    2. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Bass-box (With Bose ®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    8. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    9. B-pillar upper trim (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    10. Upper anchor installation bolt on the front seat belt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    11. Adjust anchor cover on the front seat belt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    12. B-pillar lower trim (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    13. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    14. Assist handle (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    15. Passenger-side lower panel (With center display) (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    16. Dashboard under cover (With center display) (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    17. Glove compartment (With center display) (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    18. Passenger-side front side trim (With center display) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    19. Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    20. Lower decoration panel (With center display) (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    21. Sunvisor (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    22. Front map light (See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    23. A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    24. Sunroof seaming welt (With sunroof system) (See SUNROOF UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  15. Press the marked location by hand and press fit the surface fastener.

  16. Remove the marking.
  17. Move the rear seat backs to their upright positions.
  18. Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
