Audio amplifier specification verification

  1. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON (engine off or on).
  2. Turn the audio unit power on.
  3. While pressing the POWER/VOLUME button, press the TUNE (down)/H button for 3 s or more.

  4. Inspect according to the following table:
    Inspection Display Action
    • Verify the audio amplifier specifications.
    • Are the audio amplifier specifications correct?
    		 Vehicle without Bose ®
    • N (Normal)
    		 Yes System is normal.
    No Replace the audio unit.
    (See AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Switch the ignition off to end the diagnostic assist function.
