Rear Combination Light Short-Cord Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
2. Remove the following parts.
   1. Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
   2. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
   3. Bass-box (with Bose®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
   4. Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
   5. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
   6. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Remove the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Verify that the continuity between the rear combination light short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

• If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear turn light bulb or the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR TURN LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
