Cruise Control Switch Inspection [MAZDA Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) System]

WARNING:
  1. Switch the ignition off (LOCK).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  3. Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)   4. Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Verify that the resistance and continuity between the steering switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

  6. Apply battery positive voltage to cruise control switch terminal 3F, and connect terminal 3B to ground.

  7. Verify that the LED illuminates.
