- Rear body control module (RBCM) detects a short to ground in the rear door latch switch (RH) circuit with the rear door (RH) closed (rear door latch switch (RH) off).

- Rear door latch and lock actuator (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
- Rear door latch switch (RH) malfunction
- Rear body control module (RBCM) connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3Q and rear door latch and lock actuator (RH) terminal B
- Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
