DTC B11E9-11; Rear Door Latch Switch (LH) Circuit Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Description Rear door latch switch (LH) circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) detects a short to ground in the rear door latch switch (LH) circuit with the rear door (LH) closed (rear door latch switch (LH) off).
Fail-safe function Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Rear door latch switch (LH) malfunction
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3S and rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) terminal L
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
