- Rear body control module (RBCM) detects a short to ground in the rear door latch switch (LH) circuit with the rear door (LH) closed (rear door latch switch (LH) off).

- Rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) connector or terminal malfunction
- Rear door latch switch (LH) malfunction
- Rear body control module (RBCM) connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3S and rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) terminal L
- Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
