DTC B1174-11; Door Lock-Link Switch Unlock Circuit Malfunction: Notes

DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Description Door lock-link switch unlock circuit malfunction
Detection condition
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) detects a short to ground in the door lock - link switch unlock circuit with the front door lock-link switch (RH)/rear door lock-link switch (LH)/(RH) not unlocked.
Fail-safe function Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Front door latch and lock actuator (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Front door lock-link switch (RH) malfunction
  • Rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Rear door lock-link switch (LH) malfunction
  • Rear door latch and lock actuator (RH) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Rear door lock-link switch (RH) malfunction
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3J-Front door latch and lock actuator (RH) terminal L
    • Rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3J-Rear door latch and lock actuator (LH) terminal B
      • Rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3J-Rear door latch and lock actuator (RH) terminal L
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
