| 1 | INSPECT MICROPHONE CONNECTOR CONDITION

Yes | Repair or replace the connector or terminal, then go to Step 6. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 2 | INSPECT Bluetooth ® UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION

Yes | Repair or replace the connector or terminal, then go to Step 6. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 3 | INSPECT MICROPHONE INPUT CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
|
Yes | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between Bluetooth ® unit terminal A and microphone terminal A. If there is a common connector:
Go to Step 6. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 4 | INSPECT MICROPHONE CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between Bluetooth® unit terminal E and microphone terminal E. If there is a common connector:
Go to Step 6. |

| 5 | VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS MICROPHONE DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY

Yes | Replace the microphone, then go to the next step. (See MICROPHONE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) |
| No | Go to Step 7. | ||
| 6 | VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
|
Yes | Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
Go to the next step. |

| 7 | VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED

Yes | Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [AUDIO UNIT] .) |
| No | DTC troubleshooting completed. | ||
