Effects of Non-Genuine, After-market Electrical Components

A malfunction may occur due to noise interference from a non-genuine, after-market electrical component.
If a non-genuine, after-market electrical component is installed, disconnect the connector or unplug from the 12 V accessory socket and verify that the malfunction recurs. If the malfunction does not recur, it is highly possible that the malfunction is caused by the non-genuine, after-market electrical component.
