Meter Hood Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the upper column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, pull the meter hood in the direction of the arrow and detach clips A and B from the dashboard.

Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, pull the meter hood in the direction of the arrow and detach the clips from the dashboard.

Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, pull the meter hood in the direction of the arrow and detach clips A and B from the dashboard.

Disconnect the push button start connector.

Remove the meter hood.
Remove the push button start. (See PUSH BUTTON START REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
