Front BELTLINE Molding Removal/Installation

  1. Fully open the front door glass.
  2. Remove the sail garnish. (See SAIL GARNISH REMOVAL .) (See SAIL GARNISH INSTALLATION .)
  3. Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

  4. Insert the remover tool in the position shown in the figure.

  5. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip of the front beltline molding from the front door.

  6. Pull the front beltline molding up in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

  7. Insert the remover tool in the position shown in the figure.

  8. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clip of the front beltline molding from the front door.

  9. Pull the front beltline molding up in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

  10. Rotate the front beltline molding in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the front beltline molding tabs from the front door panel.

  11. Remove the front beltline molding.
  12. Install in the reverse order of removal.
