- The instrument cluster detected an open circuit or a short to ground in the evaporator temperature sensor circuit for 0.1 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

- Evaporator temperature sensor connector or terminal malfunction
- Instrument cluster connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Instrument cluster terminal 2O-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal B
- Instrument cluster terminal 2P-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal A
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Instrument cluster terminal 2O-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal B
- Instrument cluster terminal 2P-Evaporator temperature sensor terminal A
- Evaporator temperature sensor malfunction
- Instrument cluster malfunction
